I have been waiting  and wanting this 'DIVINE'  latest Paper and Elements collection  'Destination Unknown'   and yes I finally have it...YAhooooo!!!!!!!

It is created by DeeDee Catron owner of UmWowStudio and created for 7 dots Studio and I'm sure you will agree - isn't it just totally awesome!

So here is the first of many layouts I intend to create with this Collection and the amazing UmWowStudio chipboard to match!

To create dimension behind photo I have cross hatched strips of paper and then

 lightly covered with gesso, sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays and then I have water brushed LSG Magicals to all the edges to highlight some of the weaving and also the texture paste stencilled dots in background.

'Moonlight'

Hello there,

I have just got back from the 'Scrapping with the Stars' Retreat where I managed to take everything but the kitchen sink - get creativity block - lost my mojo completely - minimal sleep - 2 hangover mornings - and came home with total of one layout completed.....(to be shown at a later date)!
The positive is that the Retreat was awesome and fun.
So for today I'm blogging to share a DT layout I have created with a favourite picture of my daughter Mackenna. I can't believe I have gone pink and girly - believe me that's rare for me these days.

Sights!

Hello and Welcome!

Today I want to share with you something special I made just for me. With 3 children I'm forever scrapping and creating projects centered around them, so I wanted to break away from this and make something smaller and personal........ For my latest UmWowStudio CT creation I decided to create an UmWowStudio Tunnel Tag book.
The idea comes from a quote that I heard over 20 years ago and I always think of.....for me it's about taking flight and reaching!

Set your sights high, the higher the better. Expect the most wonderful things to happen, not in the future but right now. Realize that nothing is too good. Allow absolutely nothing to hamper you or hold you up in any way.

A boys approval!

Hello there bloggers!

 

 Today I'm here to share a summer layout of my son Tarquinn.

It is extremely rare for me to do boys layouts- oh! and one with flowers and get away with it is an absolute miracle when you have a 12 year old.  The page is my CT layout for UmWowStudio  crated to feature the 'New' Nautical chipboard elements.
I was given a certain thumbs up sign of appreciation from my son because it was messy and cool looking apparently!

I live in what is well known as 'The Sunburnt Country' - Australia, and although we are in the season of Spring the temperature over this weekend is a warm 30 Degrees......Yes Summer is fast approaching and I love creating vibrant, fun and Nautical projects for the season.

Earthy Favourites.

Hello there!

I'm back to share an UmWowStudio DT layout once again of my daughter Mackenna and I decided to use my favourite colours ~ Teal-Turquoise-Brown-Gold and many shades there within. I had a little fun getting really dirty with lots of medium, inks and Lindy's Stamp Gang colour sprays.

I started the page by priming with Gesso, applied all the stamping then I used Modelling Paste for the stencils, added all the colour to the background...added a little too much so simply covered with another layer of gesso to hide my overkill. The chipboard is first inked and then coated in Tim Holtz crackle paint and various colours of inks and Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

Once all my embellishments etc. are in place I went back and added a little more colour and stamping enjoyed a cup of Tea and decided to add a little bit of  that Tea in spots too!

Perfect in Pink

Hello and welcome bloggers! Here in Australia it's spring time and summer is fast approaching.  I still have last years summer pictures to scrap.....so I decided that I better get a move on and scrap at least one ( I might get to the many years before that sometime soon?)
So for today I'm here to share with you a 'Girly coloured' mixed medium layout I created using some stunning Scrapmatts chipboard and Manor House Creations Flowers.

  I must say that the title is only somewhat correct - it was a 'perfect photo' in my eyes but having a 9yr old daughter means that in no way could she be possibly perfect and I'm sure those of you that have been through girls at that age would have to agree......however I must say I'm fortunate she loves the camera and takes a wonderful photo!
