All is Bright!

Hi all, Yes I have been a stranger to my blog and to scrapping for several weeks now, I had a fight with my balcony...it won and threw me off!  So now.......... truth be told~ the railing gave way and I fell backwards a little 1metre+ drop. No major damage but I have been on crutches for a few weeks and wonderfully strong pain killers that have caused a complete lack of focus.

Duty calls though.......my final 5 layout Class of 2012.
Here's a sneak peek collage.

My Minds Eye Christmas.
Sunday 16th dec. 9.30-5.00
Cheers and Merry Christmas to you all. G!

Here's what I have created........
This week I'm using 7Dots studio paper.  The gorgeous chipboard frame is from Dusty Attic` covered with Tim Holtz crackle paint ~inked & coloured with Watercolour pencils .I have gone to my old my stash and used  Prima flowers and a vine from 2011 and added some fussy cut branch elements from G45 - Birdsong collection.

So the challenge is........

When I thought about this challenge....it was easy! I remember a little tune ~ A horse is a horse, of course of course............Mr ED.    Here's what I have created.
In this layout I have used 7dots Studio paper, Prima Flowers and embellishments, Dusty Attic chipboard, Tim Holtz washi tape and some pieces from an old pair of jeans.

TCR #132 Journey

Hi everyone, The Color Room release is up...Palette #132.
Wow that's means there has been 132 challenges and different color palettes for you to choose from!
So here is my take on #132. I love this amazing photo and chose to feature Twiddleybitz chipboard on 7Dots Studio paper on this layout.
I love Prima also...I find it hard to resist adding it to most of my layouts.
Twiddleybitz is coated with Tim Holtz crackle paint and various inks and chalks.

Now for some more exciting news.................
Hey guess what? The Color Room has a Webstore AND we are an Australian Distributer for Shimmerz Paints, so not only can you nab some cool digital kits and printables, but you can get some seriously cool paints as well. Be sure to stop by and check them out.....
 Till next time, G!

October Landscape.

October challenge time at L'antrescrap.

Open your eyes around to this challenge in October, and let you feel where you are ...

The Challenge is...To highlight a landscape or place that you particularly like and in a few words ~or not...say WHY?
SO here's my page. My inspiration came from a verse of a famous Australian poet ~ Dorothea Mackellar 'My country'......I love a sunburnt country.
There is an amazing and diverse team over at L'antrescap.... Follow the link and visit us for some inspiration and join in the challenge.

Captured Palette. TCR......131

Hi there, Hooray it's the last day of the school holidays and in less than 24 hrs my giant hit list of 'things that require scrapping' is finally going to get started. 2 weeks of  near torture (for me) is over.
This weeks palette over at The Color Room is up...#131

I'm loving this palette...the colours are definately some of my favourites.
For this page I decided to go back to using lace fabric ribbon as a base ~ I couldn't resist this from Websters and I tackled my old stash from Prima and added a hint of the new.
Come on over to The Room and join the challenge this week.
here's a few detailed close ups!
Till my next post...thanks for coming by. G!
