Hi everyone and welcome, the theme for this month at Dusty Attic's ATC Challenge is "ART DECO" I found this theme hard as it is not so commonly known what Art Deco is and then I remembered that I had some old G45 papers stashed away and I thought a little memory of Madonna and her Vogue song...'They know what it's all about'! .

Think 1920's to the 1940's geometric and glamour. Art Deco (/ˌɑrt ˈdɛkoʊ/), or Deco, is an influential visual arts design style which first appeared in France during the 1920s, flourished internationally during the 30s and 40s, then waned in the post-World War II era.[1] It is an eclectic style that combines traditional craft motifs with Machine Age imagery and materials. The style is often characterized by rich colors, bold geometric shapes, and lavish ornamentation.

During its heyday Art Deco represented luxury, glamour and exuberance...so on that note here is my  May Dusty Attic 'Art Deco' ATC!

See you soon and thanks for dropping by. G!

Rusty Old Circus!

Hello there! Today I'm sharing my Dusty Attic 'Morrocan' inspired ATC....'Enjoy'. I always try to look a little 'left of centre' when I create and with this theme I couldn't help but be inspired by the ornate details in the two Dusty Attic frames #4 and #1 and by the magic of elephants and the circus.

Dusty Attic products:

My ATC is made up of several layers ~ The base Frame layers are coated with rusting powder and the base picture and top frame are from Glitz.

On that note, as my ATc says....'Enjoy' the blog!
thanks for dropping by. G!
