Rusty Old Circus!

Hello there! Today I'm sharing my Dusty Attic 'Morrocan' inspired ATC....'Enjoy'. I always try to look a little 'left of centre' when I create and with this theme I couldn't help but be inspired by the ornate details in the two Dusty Attic frames #4 and #1 and by the magic of elephants and the circus.

Dusty Attic products:

My ATC is made up of several layers ~ The base Frame layers are coated with rusting powder and the base picture and top frame are from Glitz.

On that note, as my ATc says....'Enjoy' the blog!
thanks for dropping by. G!

Rivalry or Love?

Hello and welcome, Today I'm sharing a layout created for 'Dusty Attic'.
The title  is "Evidence of True love". This is a rarity...my 3 children in a beautiful photograph together. Here in Melbourne we have just finished school holidays and my children were fighting 90% of the time except for this day......I think the warning of losing Wii, X box and ipods for 2 weeks meant that they were semi angels for this photo shoot. Now I have proof they really do love each other!
Dusty Attic Products:
Dusty in Colour Mountain Meadow
Dusty in Colour Storm Cloud
Dusty in Colour Fine Silver
Dusty in Colour Navajo White
Dusty in Colour Clear Crackle Varnish
Dusty In Bloom Smokey Blue
Floral Corners
Ornate Fence #1
I have also used the stunning Mixed media papers from 7Dots Studio and stickers, Prima Journal Tags and flowers
Till next time....XX G!

Industrial Steampunk

Hi there! Today I wanted to share with you how amazing  this was and how extremely fortunate I was to be able take some Finnabair classes and learn some creative new techniques. Finnabair's classes certainly put me out of my comfort zone but a zone I honestly loved and will continue to explore and create within. Firstly I'm going to share my Journal covers. I really love the renaissance period and decided as this was going to be my personnal journal that this was my inspiration.........

"Rennaissance Steampunk"
WOW.... how amazing and stunning does all this Dusty Attic Chipboard look!

I also participated in the Finnabair "Tea for two" layout class and combined my own background paper style with Finnabair's mixed media metal signature. It was aptly called 'tea for 2" because we used tea bags to colour and splatter the chipboard and background.

Lion Heart!

Hi there everyone,  today I'm here to share my Dusty Attic February 'Love' ATC.
I wanted to do a different take on the 'Romance and Love' theme and as I watched the Wizard of Oz last week with my children I kept thinking of the Tin Man and the Lion....Yep! I muddled the two up a little and came up with my ATC.

Hi there, I hear that for some February is considered the month of romance.....my DH needs a total reminder about this!
Over at Dusty Attic the Design Team are celebrating with the theme of  'love'  for the month.
