A little crazy for DOTS!

7 Dots Studio paper collections that is!
Hi there everyone, WOW look at this amazing paper....the colours are so vibrant and striking. I have a love of wood, trees and pailing texture so instantly this paper was on my must have list!

This weeks palette for 'The Color Room' #121 was a perfect match, as this time you got to add one color~ your choice, my addition is green!.
I decided to go on the darker side of the palette. I have also used Prima flowers, leaves and chippy, Scrapware frames, Tim Holtz crackle paint ~inked with Ingvild Bolme chalks.
Come on over to 'The Color Room' and see some beautiful layouts created with this palette and see the Gorgeous new 'Sweet Childhood' Collection by this months sponsors ~ The Scrapcake.

A Taste of Saturday!

Hello, hello! O.K. so I have been a little busy of late and was kindly reminded that
I hadn't put up any sneaks of my Saturday 28th July class. OOpps...Sorry!
Here's  a look at 3 of the layouts the class is focusing on MM Eye papers ~ Stunning 'new' Green Tara Flowers and a hint of Prima and Kaiser blooms.
Firstly ~ here's Mackenna en'Joy'ing a taste of bubble mix.

You all asked for girl layouts ~ these gorgeous Damask and Heirloom Green Tara flowers really add that feminine touch.
That's all for now, thanks for the reminder Joy. and you will get to see the other 2 layouts on Saturday!  G!

Missing that time!

Hi there, yes I blinked and lost a couple of days...I'm sure???? I'm  also sure life gets that way for all of us sometimes. Always seems so much to do, new techniques to try and never enough time.

Now for this weeks release at The Color Room ~Palette #120. Here's what I created....Come on over and take a look!

This week I have added some beautiful embellishments to The Scrapcake 'My Private Happiness' Papers.
The Devine main Dusty pink flower is called 'Poppy' from Green Tara. All the smaller flowers are a combination of Prima and Green Tara and the resins are Melissa Frances.

Once again this weeks stunning palette is sponsored by The Scrapcake this month. Do drop by the blog...they have some absolutely amazing creations to enjoy and a fabulous DT.
Oh and a little Heads-up Tease?....I have seen some of the gorgeous layouts the DT ladies of TCR have created for the next palette #121 and they are creations you don't want to miss!!!
Come on by at the end of week to see them yourself. The Color room.

A litttle Scandalous!

Hi there, just a couple more days to get through and I might just get my sanity back!!! That's right...school holidays will be over. Me time, scrap time, my music, my silence, my mess, my computer ....Hooray I'm sure most reading this will totally understand.  I have managed to get some layouts done (not much computer time) and will post some more in a few days.

Now for Today's release at  The Color Room ~Palette #119  Come on over and take a look at what the amazing Design Team has created and at the fantastic gallery!

I have created a layout using the 'New' G45 A Ladies Diary collection. I love the look on my Daughter Mackenna's face here, it says to me ~ naughty and mischievious (just what A ladies Scandalous Diary would be!)

Here is this weeks stunning palette sponsored by The Scrapcake this month. Do drop by the blog...they have some beautiful creations to enjoy.
Bye, back in a few days! G!

A New Palette!

Hi there! It's school holidays.......Mmmm, anyone else struggling with chaos and lack of 'me' time, I know I am. With 3 children trying to run riot and I'm sure their aim is to see who can get mum the maddest!!!!!
O.K. it's not all bad and crazy though because when bed time comes, mum finally gets to scrap.
This week over at The Color Room there is a stunning new palette to challenge and inspire you. #118 Sponsored by The Scrapcake.

Here is my take on the palette. I rarely do boys layouts (even with 2 boys) I really struggle with them, so this is palette certainly was a challenge. I used a real mixture of companies produsts here:  October Afternoon, Carta Bella Paper, Kaiser, Manor house and the title caomes from an old outgrown hoodie of my sons.
Thanks for dropping by! G!
